Lighted tracks and longer trails
Parra has a lighted ski track, that wanders up and down the Parra mountain close by.
In winters with enough snow, you can join a 70 kilometer ski trail network from Parra.
Ski tracks with natural snow
From the ski center Snowpark Parras gård, you get to a 5 km long lighted ski track and via this to longer ski tracks.
All ski tracks consist of natural snow, so availability depends on the amount of snow.

Turning on the track lighting
You turn on the lighting in the ski track yourself. The power switch is on the lamp post which is directly to the left when you enter the ski center parking lot.
You can also get to the ski track from the ”other side of the mountain” from the Luonto-Parra parking lot. There is the switch on the pole between the buildings.
After the lighting is switched on, it stays on until 9 p.m.
Longer ski trails
During snowy winters there are tens of kilometers of ski trails. Along the trails there are several shelters and rest areas. Firewood is available at the wind shelter along the lighted track, at the top of Parra.
More info about ski trails (in Finnish) and more links to the Excursionmap.fi-service on the Parrakeskus page.
All ski tracks are maintained by Teuva municipality.
