BBQ Huts – free to use
There are four huts – five fireplaces – between the slopes and the Sled Hill.
All the huts are free for everyone to use. During the opening hours of the slopes there’s also free firewood in a lean-to shelter next to the huts.
Grilling
During the season, you can also buy sausages from Parra Bistro to grill on the fireplaces!
Do you know Werner already?
On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, Werner-bunny might come and take a peek inside the huts…so don’t leave any carrots exposed! Werner-bunny is there usually round 3 pm (15.00).
Also for summer trips!
Open BBQ Huts can also be used freely after the ski season.
Even in summer, you can go on excursions in the Parra area. Read more on the Parra area website (in Finnish)!
Update 26.1.2023: The price of firewood rose sharply in the winter of 2023. We still offer firewood when the slopes are open, but unfortunately not at other times. Outside the opening hours, the wood storage is locked.
Nevertheless, you can use the BBQ huts at any time and make a fire with your own firewood.
